So I was reading a few of the post here and started getting a few ideas, and me being the new guy I thought I would throw in my two cent.

We all know who Cell is...the best that pawned most everyone, anyway I was thinking why not add him on to the race list. He had cool abilities and became a major player. He could be easily intergraded as a invention of the androids or just one really crazy human. The thing special about the race could be...

5% power gain from absorbing or just simply fighting
Has to absorb either a certain number of androids or a specific android to transform into the next level of power


It’s not the greatest, but hey I am pulling this out my anus. So tell me what you think and please if you want to say its stupid than please do. And if you think of some changes or anything I forgot feel free to say.

I liked how Cell was one-of-a-kind. The ultimate android(Until DBGT I suppose). I would really like to keep things close to the show, and Cell was just too awesome. It would be like wanting to make Buu a playable race. They are much better than any other "race." So even if we did just say a lot more biological androids like Cell were made, it would be hard to keep them balanced with the other races and still keep them true to the show. Just my opinion. We already have androids, so if you just have to pretend you are like Cell to get you through the day, go for it.

True, very true about Cell and Buu. I just always loved the idea of Cells good and bad walking through the streets having a story of their own in the world. They would be hard to balance, but then I'm sure that balancing the other races were hard too. In the end result though it could give a whole new level of game play. I do agree though that balancing them would be hard and require a lot of work and that we should stay close to DBZ, but veering off a little could do some good, right?

Oh no doubt. I think it would be awesome if we could have every race that appeared in DBZ as a playable one, and also keep them very true to how they work in the show.

Buu I think would be a little much just because of the fact that well Kid Buu destroys all hahahaha. On a serious not though Buus would be hard because all of them except have limited intelligence and all they care about is killing and eating.

Its not a bad idea,it just has a few kinks to be worked out, but maybe one day it will work out,because I like it.....it just seems really unfair,because cell and buu were freakin beasts ,sooo...if you choose that race how would anyone stand a chance against you?

Yeah, that's kind of the problem...We would have to make them so much weaker than they really were/change them so much, that it would defeat the point of even wanting to make them a playable race.

If I wanted to be Cell, I'd want to be like Cell really was. Not a dumbed down version or anything...Which just doesn't seem possible. I also like simplicity. We only have 1 android. It's not really clear who they are based, and in a lot of ways PM's androids are like a mix of all generations of androids, cell included.

That is true, I can always dream though. I haven't seen any PM androids yet so I can't say anything about that.

No...not likely dude....they are not weak,unless you find a real player android that started the game when you did and is around the same level then no....none of them are weak

Yeah androids are really good fighters. In an even 1 on 1 fight, an android has the advantage. Much like a human has an advantage in most even 1 on 1 fights, except androids have a lot of ways to gain powerlevel easy unlike humans, minus the whole training/sparring thing. As far as npc androids go, well I guess it matters what the ref gives them, but they are still really good in an even fight because of their abilities that the other races lack.

Androids in PM are like 19 and 20. I've thought about adding different types, but all of the other Androids would be too ridiculously strong. 17 and 18 had "unlimited" power, but couldn't gain powerlevel. So if we had Androids like that, you'd start off with millions of powerlevel, which wouldn't be fair. Cell was also too powerful to have in a game. Plus, like Reno said, there was only one of him ever created.

I love the idea of more playable races, however, I don't really understand you guys having problems with a Buu or Cell race based on it being "under-powered." I mean this is an RP game right? So wouldn't it be more about playing the race that you really wanted, as opposed to being the guy from the show? Yeah some of us have names from the show but most of us act in RP the way we feel like acting, not how Goku did or Vegeta did. I guess my point is, who cares what has to be done for the races to fit in with the rules, as long as you get to be who you really want in the game.

But, if you REALLY want to be these races, I would suggest making a wish with the dragonballs.

Well both were created/designed to be able to destroy a planet and then move on without killing themselves so making a Buu or Cell race would mean making a race that can blow up a planet then regenerate (and in Cell's case he would get stronger after blowing up a planet)...now that doesn't sound that balanced to me, but who knows maybe someone could figure out a way to make them balanced but I don't likely see that happening.

This is a good idea and in my opinion the best way

You can have an android and just make him cell like describe in your rping that you absorb with your tail.

for a Tuffle you could be Human but instead of Time freeze you could have a Technology perk

A majin would be a devil but I can't Iron this one out fully

Maybe instead of a race how about a boss only for experienced fighters?

I don't exactly think you could reason with someone like Cell or with someone as crazy as Buu but I do like the idea of fighting one for a db although it would make it hard to get all 7 figuring how strong they are.
