Ladies and gentlemen, in light of recent performances by the large bulk of the Planet Mado players and the rewards given out recently, I would like to point most of you in the direction of a very hand post made a while back.

The first post in the thread is the only important one and it's not too awful much to read. We refs want to enjoy the game as well and you following the pointers given there helps us greatly.
On a related side note, "Best RPer" awards aren't the only way that good role-playing gets rewarded here at PM. Being clever and creative will get you places faster and give you a little bit of an edge in a fight (coming in the form of a dodge or block bonus, better loot, or additional damage for fighting in an inventive and thoughtful way). Giving us some information on your motives, goals, and ambitions for your character will also help us to give you more personalized goals and rewards.
You want an outfit that looks like Darth Vader's? Let us know and as you complete quests on your road to awesomeness, you may well find a weighted black cape or a weighted hat that appears like Darth Vader's helmet. Want to slaughter all devils because they raped and pillaged your tiny hamlet while you were a youngster? You may just find yourself on a quest to find and vanquish a demon overlord. This game isn't about what the refs create alone. It's about what you create with them. To make this game the best it can possibly be for both the refs and players, we need all of your help.
