This RPG is set on regular, normal, and good old Earth. The game won't have lightsabers or high speed DBZ combat. However it will make up for it with suspense, survival, and other such horror movie elements. So who is interested?

BIO: A former standout in Track and Wrestling in college, Walz fell into obscurity after graduation. He secluded himself from his friends and remaining family after the loss of his parents in a tragic car accident. Nowadays, Walz is an employee at a dingy gas station spends the fall time hunting out in the wilderness. The rest of the time he can be found holed up in his small studio apartment playing videogames, smoking pot, and watching movies.

On a typical Tuesday Walter as usual was smoking his reefer in his closed up apartment. When he got a call from an old buddy from his college days. "Yo Walz what is up it's me Mitchell you know from college track..........................." This conversation went on for a good thirty minutes, but to summarize. Having tore his Achilles Tendon, Mitchell's future as a competitive runner was over. To make a living he got hired by his estranged father who owns an Auto-Repair Shop. Strangely enough his father was killed in a freak accident two weeks ago in which a car he was working underneath collapsed on top of him. Police labeled it an accident. You having been good buds with Mitchell have been asked to come work for him at least temporarily.
(For the purpose of the story you accept his offer and leave the next morning by plane to a small town in Arkansas by the name of Prare Falls. When you arrive there you find the inhabitants of the town to be rather unwelcome and scornful to your presence however you do eventually find your way to the car shop. It seems empty however you working at a gas station such as yours knows that looks can be deceiving, what do you do?

Your adventure began when you and your GF(Pick a name) decide to go cross country from California to New York. Eventually you make it to the outskirts of a town by the name of Prare Falls when your car abruptly stops. Then steam begins to rise from the hood of your car. About half a mile up the road you see a sign that says (Prare Falls Population 206) What do you do?

[Cloud]

"Yo Mitch, you here? Mitch?" Walz calls outs as he peers through a dusty window of the auto repair shop. He bangs on the door to the small time business one more time calling out for his friend.

"Just my fuckin' luck..." he mutters to himself.

He reaches into his jacket a pulls out a pack of cigarettes. Removing one from the pack, he quickly lights it and takes a long draw. Walz takes a quick look around, examining the building for another entrance or perhaps an employee. He also takes a gander at his immediate area looking for anyone he could possibly ask for Mitch's whereabouts.

As you look to the left your cigarette accidentally slips from your hand and falls to the ground, when you pick it up and look up you see a shadowy figure dart past inside the shop. You also begin to fell droplets of rain begin to fall on your skin what do you do?

As you are walking not even for even two minutes rain begins to fall. Maddy then looks up to the sky and sees nothing, but dark clouds as the sun is blotched out. She then looks at her watch and says," What the hell it's only 2 and yet it looks like 9. Alright Rick I can't do this your gonna have to go into town without me, here give me the keys I will wait in the car." She then stares you down with seductive eyes whilst holding out her hand. What do you do?

As you continue walking the rain goes from bad to worse. Lighting appears and thunder as loud as an explosion is heard. After about a mile of walking you come upon a small dirt road that diverges from the main one with a sign that says (Beggars in 1 mile) on the the main road another sign says (Prare Falls four miles) What do you do the storm is getting bad?

"Mitch?" Walz calls after the mysterious figure. He notices the falling rain has put out his cigarette so he tosses it back on the ground slightly annoyed.

He tentatively follows after the person who entered the shop all the while calling out for his friend. "Yo Mitch dude, it's me Walter. I made it."

As you continue walking you notice that the shop appears rundown as if it hasn't been stepped in for weeks. Near the back you see a car with a do not cross police line surrounding it(With your intelligence you realize this is where Mitch's dad was crushed) Suddenly you here a noise of an object falling behind you. As you turn around you see Mitch. (He has the position of someone who was in sneak mode) he looks at you and says," Damn Walz and here I was trying to scare you!" (He then begins to smile and laugh)

As you continue walking you feel a vibration in your pocket when you check it. It is your phone with the caller ID Maddy. As you answer all you get is a buzzing sound and a click, the call ends.

''Huh, what was that it was probably becaus all of this rainwe cant get a very good signal o well it couldnt of benn that important all she's doning is ditting in a car.'' Then Rick puts the phone back in his pocket and keeps walking very fast bacause of the rain.thinking man I hop this place isnt to far.

"Hilarious," Walz deadpans.

"Good to see you too," he continues, lightly punching Mitch in the shoulder. "I was starting to worry that I was at the wrong place what with all the weird people in this town. Then again I can see why it is you live here. So... Where do we go from here?"

Eventually you come upon the inn. It is two stories high with a deck on the top to walk around in. The front appears pretty run down with a sign that says open. At the top of the inn is another sign that says (BEGGARS INN). What do you do?

(Walz)

In an serious voice,"Well if you must know I was going to head into town to the sheriff's station, you see I have to file another report. If you want you can come with me to the station or I can take you to an Inn outside of town right away to get you settled it's your choice. So whats it gonna be?"

[Cloud]

"Well," Walz momentarily ponders the suggestions, "As entertaining as sitting in my room watching dirty movies sounds I think it'll be good for me to see what this shithole has to offer. I'm cool with heading to the station, but what's the report about?"

[Hicks98]

(Walz)
"Well ugh (Mitch then begins looking around the room nervously and grabs you pulling you into an office) alright you see as you know my father is dead." "However I and a few people in the department believe it to be murder!" "If you want we can talk more about this later, but this is the real reason I brought you here now come on!" He then pulls you out of the office outside where he then walks around back and gets inside an old dodge truck. I assume you get in?

Walz gets into the passenger side of the truck and mulls over the news he just recieved.

"I'm really sorry about what happened to your dad, but why do you think it was murder? Who could've have possibly wanted to kill him? And for what reason?"

As you walk in you see a dingy bar to your left and a counter where the clerk would stand about ten feet in front of you. You also notice a bell on the counter. (You have an ominous feeling envelop you as the storm worsens outside)

(Walz)

Mitch sets his rear view mirror, puts on his seat belt, and starts the car. He turns and looks at you for a few seconds and finally says in a whisper tone,"ijvnhslbkbjblkfbvl." you can barely hear him as the storm worsens. He turns the windshield wipers on and begins again realizing he cannot be heard," I appreciate you helping me out man, so I suppose I can tell you.(He puts the car in drive and drives onto the dirt road into town, he then continues speaking) Lately there have been disappearances around town from what I hear this happened around twe (As he goes to finish his sentence he looks on the road and says "Oh Shit!!!" You look and see a figure in the road, Mitch swerves off the road and crashes into the woods flipping the car.)

[Cloud]

"Wh - fuuuuuuu," groans Walz, slowly coming to.

The drops of rain patter through the leaves of the trees above and drop onto his prone form. He attempts to move, briefly, but a sharp pain shoots throughout the entire left side of his body.

"Aghhh..."

He lifts his right arm, feeling a slight soreness in his shoulder, and touches his forehead. Blood is flowing freely from a gash just over his temple, near his hairline.

Opening his eyes, it takes several moments for Walz to blink away the blurriness clouding his vision. Looking to the left, he sees Mitch's truck, totaled and leaning upside down against a tree. Mitch! he thinks to himself, gotta make sure he's alright.

"Mitch..." he calls out weakly.

Shit... I gotta try to get up...

He attempts to move his legs and wiggle his toes, assuring himself that he didn't suffer any serious injury to his spine. Walz then reaches into his jacket, making sure he didn't crush his cigarettes. He didn't. Whew.

He rolls over onto his stomach. Slowly, Walz manages to get up to his hands and knees. He notices his left arm is soaked in his own blood, he can now see the tear in his jacket just above his elbow.

"Mitch," he calls out again with a little more strength.

He attempts to stand, but he nearly doubles over as a pain shoots through his ribs.

"Fuck..." he curses outloud. Musta broke a rib.

Walz waits a few seconds, allowing the pain to subside, before getting up and stumbling over to his friends truck.

"Mitch," he calls out again, managing to get himself to the drivers side of the truck.

Not quite sure in what condition he'll find Mitch, he cautiously lowers himself down to a knee and peers into the driver side window of the truck.

(Walz)

As you lower your head to peer into the truck you find... Nothing the truck is empty and Mitchell is nowhere to be found.
(You notice that it is almost pitch black outside due to the trees and clouds blocking out the sun)
You nostrils also fill with the smell of gasoline with your intelligence telling you it isn't a good sign.
The forest is full of life and animals can be heard howling and moving about, most likely to get away from the weather.
What do you do?

[Cloud]

Overwhelmed by the smell of gasoline, Walz quickly, but foolishly, rummages through the cab of the truck for anything useful or out of the ordinary. Not wanting to risk it any longer, he quickly surveys the immediate area for any sign of Mitch or any footprints and stumbles away from the truck.

Once he feels he is a safe enough distance away, Walz leans against a tree and reaches into his right pocket. Retrieving a small utility/hunting knife his father gave him as a child, he carefully cuts away the sleeve of his jacket just above the gruesome gash on his arm. This proves to be difficult. Much of the cloth surrounding the wound has stuck to the wound itself due to the blood. Every tug of his sleeve causes Walz to wince at the pain.

After several moments, Walz manages to remove the sleeve and uses the bit of torn cloth to staunch the blood from the wound.

That'll have to do for now, he thinks to himself.

With his wound somewhat dressed, he begins searching diligently for any sign of his lost friend.

Rick the sighs and says''I have a feeling thet there not going to be able to help me.'' then he walks up to the bell looks at it for a second then rings it hoping for a response.

As you begin searching you find no sign of footprints.
Of course this very well could be due to there being nothing but mud.
Once your about 30ft from the flipped truck you here an explosion.
(BOOM!!! Birds in the trees near by fly off in the opposite direction of the truck.)
You turn around to see, though your not surprised the truck in pieces with varying patches of flame around it. Realizing there is no use sticking around you continue onward until you reach an embankment.
<Intelligence Bonus Tip>
IF YOU CLIMB UP THE EMBANKMENT IT MOST DEFINITELY LEADS UP TO THE ROAD.
HOWEVER IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO CLIMB UP IT ON A NORMAL DAY, LET ALONE WITH AN INJURED ARM AND THE STORM UPON YOU.
YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT THOUGH YOU HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHERE IT GOES.

After a few seconds several things happen. The loud thunder you have heard all night gives off the loudest one so far, The counter begins shaking, the bell falls to the floor making a ding noise, and from behind the counter a door that once appeared to be a wall opens up to reveal a man in around his fifties. (He has gray long hair, wears a bikers vest, and has a face only his mother could love.) Speaking in a cracked and obviously from years of smoking induced voice says," How may I be of assistance Wide Eyes?"(He then begins laughing in between coughing fits.)
What do you do?

Walz stands before the embankment looking up toward the road.

Damnit... this day just keeps getting better.

Walz surveys the surrounding trees for a thin, low hanging branch. Finding one, he grabs on with his uninjured arm and tugs as hard as he can putting all his weight into it until it snaps. He pins the branch between his arm and body on his injured side. Using his good arm, he grabs his knife and begins to remove the leaves and tiny branches fashioning a bit of a walking stick.

Moving toward the hill, he stabs the broken end of the stick into the mud.

Might as well give it a shot. Worse thing that can happen is I'll be in the same exact position I'm in now.

With that, Walz jabs the stick further up the hill and slowly tries to pull himself up toward the road.

[Goto]

Rick looks at the old man and says.'yes,my car broke down a couple miles down the road and i was wondering if theres any one who could help me.''

(Walz)
After what seems like hours of trying you eventually make it up the embankment.
However you are now freezing cold numb, wet and muddy, and near exhaustion.
When you look around you see the road is half covered in debris though somewhat in the distance you see what looks like a human shaped object walking aimlessly around.
What do you do?

(Rick)
He looks at you fora moment staring you down until finally he says,"I suppose I could help you, unfortunately it'd have to wait till this storm calms down. Tell you what how about you stay here for the night free of charge and we can go out in the morning?" (He then pull out a cigar cuts and lights it and begins smoking leaving a horrific smell)

Rick sighs and says man my girlfriands in the car well I guess she will be fine till tomaro but I might not have a girlfriend after tomaro,this really sucks. But she will be fine, so whers the room at?

After taking a few more hits from his cigar he state,"Upstairs number 6." He then hands you the keys and leaves.
What do you do?

[Cloud]

"What's a guy gotta do to get a break 'round here?" Walz wonders outloud, breathing heavily.

Noticing the figure in the distance, Walz is suddenly reminded about his missing friend. Taking off in a light jog, he calls out toward the person, a small part of him hoping he has found Mitch.

[Goto]

Rick takes the keys and after the old man leaves he looks at them for a second and thinks.

man this really sucks I have to stay in this old run down inn and the worst part is that maddys out allone in the car why did the worst storm of the year have to be today.

Then he turn to the steps heading up stairs and walked over to them then he looked up them for a second and then walked up them. Thay wornt very log but it felt like they wore million steps and each step made a loud creaking sound. Then finally got to the top he turn and started to walking down the hallway with his eyes darting both ways intell he made it to room six then he stuck the key in and turned it and the door creaked open and he walked inside.

As you get to the figure you find it is a girl who appears in her early twentys.
She is dragging herself along not paying you any mind as if she had no sense of reality.
As you look closer you notice multiple stab wounds in her chest and hands.
She then looks towards you with piercing, pleading eyes and says in a shriek,"R----------!" Then falls to the ground and doesn't move from an inch.:eek05:

Once you open the door you find it to actually be nicer then you expected.
There is a single bed with a small counter beside it. A small closet and bathroom. There is one window however it is barred.:eek:
You can see the weather outside isn't getting any better.

Rick then closed the door and lcked it behind him them he walks over to the window and grabs the bars and thinks

why would th windows be bared thats kinda wierd then looks out the window man when will this storm let up this has to be the worst storm of the year

Then from being so tired from walking all the way here he laid down on the bed and drifted asleep

As you drift into blissful sleep the door begins shaking and his banged on loudly. Before you have time to react the door flies open and standing before you is the clerk with Maddy's head in his left hand and and a blood drenched machete in the other.
What do you do?

[Cloud]

"What the fuck?! Lady! What the fuck?!"

Walz begins to approach the lady to check to see if she's still alive but quickly has second thoughts. Instead, the frightened young man looks around frantically.

"Oh shit! Oh shit! What the fuck is going on?" he continues, clearly shaken by the last few moments.

Not thinking, and not knowing which direction the town lies, Walz begins to run as fast as he can down the road.

As you run you eventually make it to a sign that says(Beggars Inn 1 Mile)
What do you do?

[Cloud]

Driven past the point of exhausted, Walz finds a little hope when he see's the sign pointing to the inn. With no hesitation, he begins walking toward Beggars Inn.

(Walz)
Near unconsciousness you stumble along until you are on your knees deep in despair. Looking into the dark clouds above, with the rain poring down your face the last thoughts that escape you are of your friend Mitch's fate.

Unknown Voice: So your finally awake!

Your eyes flutter open to see a man in his fifties smoking a cigar and chuckling.

Paul: Names Paul stranger, your the second lost youngin tonight that here been found at my doorstep. You gotta name?

Rick screams out''What the... YOU SICK FUCK!!!'' Then he runs in to the bathroom and lockes the door then he scrambles to find a way out or some thing to use to protecte him his eyes are darting every then he looks up to see if theres a air vent.

Unfortunately there is no air vent and as you search frantically the door crashes behind you.
Nearly missing you, instead you feel the cold blade strike you through the chest.
You turn towards the door to see the clerk laughing manically having just thrown the machete.

Suddenly you awake in a cold sweat in a sweat drenched bed.
You realize it was just a dream, though a very real one none the less.
What do you do?

[Cloud]

Walz sits up and reaches into his jacket pocket.

"I need to use your phone," he says calmly, grabbing a smoke from his pack.

"This has been one fucked up night. My friend and I were in a car accident. I woke up in the forest and my friend was missing. Then I saw some lady with holes all over her guest and hands. Like somebody stabbed her a bunch of times."

Walz paused to light up his cigarette. He took a deep draw and held it in for a few moments. He wasn't sure why he was being so candid with the strange innkeeper. Perhaps he was just gauging the mans reaction before explaining his wild tale to the police.

"Wait... You said I'm not the first guy to wander in here tonight?" walz asked, just now realizing the implications of the mans words. What if Mitch didn't see Walz lying on the forest floor? What if Mitch wandered into the inn to call for help?

"what's this guy look like?"

[Goto]

''huh huh,this place... this place is really getting to me...I dont feel to good about this.'' then he stood up and walked over to the window to see if the storm is letting up.

(Walz)
The man chuckles and says," Funny I ask you your name and I get some remarkable tale, feel free not to give me your name stranger however if you must know I stitched up your wounds and the other guy is in the room next door if you wanna meet him. He's around your age if it makes you feel better.":pimp:
He then grabs your cigs says,"There bad for your health." and walks out before you have time to do anything.

You notice to your dismay the storm is not letting up. In a depressive tone you fall to the bed looking up to the ceiling. when this happens you begin hearing voices from the other room though they are muffled from the wall. Eventually the voices stop.
What do you do?

I keep staring at the wall wondering who esle is at this piece of crap motel then I sit up and think I wonder if theyheve a car and could help me cause I really need to go get maddy
then I get up and walk over to the door and open it and look both ways down the hallway aand notice theres no one in the hallway then i walk out and leave the door cracked then I walk over to the next door beside mine then nock thinking man I hope the people are nice, and have a car. then wait for the door to open.

Walz as you prepare to do something you hear a knock on your door.
What do you do?
Rick you wait patiently at the door.

[Cloud]

Maybe it is Mitch.

Walz anxiously gets up and quickly answers the door.

"Mitch?"

Standing before you Walz is none other than.... You have no clue who this is. :confused: It's a good looking guy in his twentys. From your intelligence he looks to be very fit around 5'11 weighing about 180 pounds. He is also tan with dark hair and blue eyes.
What do you do?

"Uhh can I help you?" Walz asks the new stranger, the disappointment clearly show in his tone.

Rick looks at Walz and says.'' Walz sighs, feeling slightly remorseful at the pathetic sight of the man walking away.

"Alright dude," he calls after him, "I guess I'm not gonna find my friend sitting in this dump so I'll go out and help you. But I really don't have a car, so we'll have to find some transportation."

Thene Rick turns a round and looks up in suprise with a smirk on his face but then the smirk left his face and he said.''Man,I really hoped you would of had a car cause I dont think we will be able to find any other transportation around. Here and did you even see any cars out in front of the hotel. Im probrably gonna have to wait till tomaro and walk back to the car and I still dont know how I gonna get it to run it completly brock down.'' Then he looked how he did when he was walking away.

"Why don't you ask the innkeeper if he has a car? Or maybe we could call a taxi? Not sure if towns like this have taxis, but it's worth a shot."

You find that the man is no longer there and no one is in sight, :confused: however you do find keys on the counter with a note saying "Car In Garage"

Rick looked at the keys confused thinking.
Why would he have left keys here,he couldnt of known that i would want to take his car,are they for some one else.I dont care im taking them any way
The he grabedthe keys and darted up the stairs and looked at Walz and said " Hey, I found some car keys on the counter and it had a note that said car in garage im take it you wanna come with."

"Huh?" Walz responds, realizing he was half asleep. The exhaustion was starting to take its toll on him - physically and mentally. But there was no time to rest, he thought to himself. His friend was still out there and he was starting to suspect that something was out of the ordinary in this town. He had to be wary, especially of this new stranger.

"Yea," he answered after a few moments. "Let's get a move on."

He looks at Walz and smiles then says ''Ok then lets go.'' Then Rick and Walz walks down the stairs and into the lobby then Rick looks at Walz and says.''Hey,do you now were the garage is?''

"I have no idea where anything is," Walz shrugs. "I'm just along for the ride."

door and tride to open the door, and if it was unlocked Rick walked in.

The door is indeed unlocked and inside you find a small staircase leading downstairs

Rick looks down the stairs and looks back at Walz and says.''Its stairs leading down its probably the basement, do you think we should go down.''

"Why not? Who knows what kind of goodies we'll find in a dark, scary room in a creepy town."
