Don't you just love how they spell 'people' in the lower thirds? So intelligent, we should definitely listen this news team. They don't let the guy speak either, but that's Fox for you..

Thats crazy! They really should let both parties say everything that needs to be said.

I'm in the Gamers side!

Did you know that there's a murderer in your house ... right now? It's sitting there on your coffee table, in your Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC. It's name is Modern Warfare 2 (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/modern-warfare-2), and it lets your eight-year-old child become a terrorist and kill people. Our pals at Fox & Friends got together for a "fair and balanced" discussion about the game's controversial airport scene (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/28/new-modern-warfare-airport-murder-simulator-2-video-game-glorif/), with the show's host Steve Doocy inviting Common Sense Media (http://www.commonsensemedia.org/)'s Jim Steyer and /gamer (http://www.slashgamer.com/)'s Jon Christensen into the fray.

Unsurprisingly, Steyer makes the oft-cited connection between violent games and real-life violence. And when Doocy gives Christensen the final word, he cobbles together an anecdote about his friend the retail manager not selling copies of Modern Warfare 2 to underage consumers, which is met with, "You bring a game into a house, nothing to stop an eight-year-old kid from becoming a terrorist and shooting people" from Doocy. So far, we haven't received any reports of the game sneaking its way into people's homes or making parents blind and unaware of their children's actions, but we'll keep our ears to the ground.

Too bad it isn't the parents fault that their 8 year old fucktards are playing a mature video game where there are strong uses of verbal violence, apparent terrorist activity, and more gore than you can't help but love...but wait, oh that's right, it is completely the parents fault.

Hahaha.

"They're undercover CIA agents, not terrorists."
"The game lets you be a terrorist!"
"He's undercover not a terrorist."
"Eight year olds are playing as terrorists!"
"Not a terrorist."
"There's gore, little kids play it."
"It can only be sold to 17+"
"If its in a house, the little kids can easily have access to it!"

Along with Daddy's shotgun under the bed, but let's worry about the video game =D

Yah, people are stupid.

But then again, my girlfriend is a 4th grade teacher. Two of her kids have written hitlists, and one kid in her class has tried hanging himself by a jumprope on the monkey bars. Its a scary world we live in, and many parents arent equipped to teach their kids.

So I tell fox, why dont you stop spending all this money to fight video games, and instead tell your precious republicans that they should stop taking money out of their education systems to line their dirty pockets.

take money from public education = stupid parents, stupid parents = stupid kids, stupid kids = the real terrorists.

Americas fucked, im moving to Australia.

Aye aye, mate. There are too many non-give-a-shit parents that think having a kid means more money from the government and not the actual fact that they need to teach their kid some manners and not to be a pussy (emo kids, skater punks, wigers, etc). Anyone else waiting for Armageddon? Not just referring to the second epic move where people run a train on an asteroid either.

Sounds pretty exaggerated/made up unless she has been teaching for over 20 years.

I really hope that would be the case...but with how kids are nowadays, well, I wouldn't be surprised if its true.
