View Full Version : Infinite Ki Androids
The new race, Infinite Ki Androids, are now up on the Races (http://www.planetmado.com/index.php?pageid=races) page.
I'll be going through and adding/updating/changing the Rule Book (http://www.planetmado.com/index.php?pageid=rules) throughout the week to apply the changes we've discussed in the forum.
Can an android (either one) fly to a player that they have met before? I assume androids can't learn detect powerlevel, and their built-in scouter only detects powerlevel numbers not the feel of an individuals ki signature. Obviously, I'm looking for the answer, "No, Reno, they can not."
My assumption on androids was no one can fly to them because androids have no ki signature, and androids can't fly to anyone else because they can't tell the difference from one persons ki from another's.
The android still has the advantage because they can detect someone flying towards their location (for whatever reason), but no one else can detect an android flying towards their own location. I think it would be way overpowered for an android to be able to fly directly to another player they have met before, without ever being detected on the way there, but other races could not fly to them at all (and even if they did by taking a guess at where the android was, the android would detect them on the way and react accordingly). Would make for a lot of harassment as well.

I think that's what we ended up deciding on last round, wasn't it? They can't fly directly to a player they've been to before, but if a player (or an NPC) flying toward them will come up on their sensors, they just won't know who it is.
Yeah think so, or at least I remember that's what I was pushing for. If I don't get the answer I want, I tend to try again at a later date, hehehe. Thanks Mado, lovin' the new race (Yay, PM finally gets a new race added!!!)

Yeah, I can't remember if it was implemented for sure, but I do remember you pushing for it :)
And I love this race, I'm glad we're finally adding them, they're so much different than all the other races. I'm really interested to see how they do.

On the same note i dont think they should be able to read any pl (exact numbers) that is 150% more. Meaning that if they have 1m pl and someone that has 1.5 comes along their pl detector should just malfunction. since even regular scouter cant real pl. just a thought tho.

I don't like this. One of the main advantages of Androids is being able to hide and detect powerlevels, but I do know some points where they do mess up, normally though it isn't by a lot. Even when someone is way stronger than them. Also regular scouters are technically not as advanced as the androids. This is clear from how Bulma was able to fix up a scouter and figure it out really fast while it took almost a week or so, for Bulma and her dad to fix #16. In other words, I'm saying everything is fine as it is.

i guess you have a point here o well gohan is just a kill joy who wants to be an android.
