So last night, Rachel (my fiance), James (Ryujin) and I go to a local venue to see the band Social Distortion. They finally take the stage after about two hours of opening bands, and we're all stoked. Everything's going fine until about five minutes into their set, when I feel like I'm getting raped from behind. At first I thought it was just some guy going nuts (I feel a crotch bumping into my butt for a good five or ten minutes straight). I finally look over to James and say something to him, and he tells me it's some chick, and he gradually pushes her further over (to my left). Well, the butt-raping stops, but now she's jumping up and down on my left shoulder, grabbing my arm like we're together, and squeezing my bicep. At this point I'm extremely annoyed and distracted by this drunken idiot, and apparently James can tell. So he tells me to push her out of the way and he'll get in the spot she was in. Mind you I couldn't even enjoy the show because she was being so obnoxious. So I gently push her to the side, and shove James over in her spot - great, problem solved...until a few seconds later when I look over and she's trying to choke James and is scratching at his throat/face. He kind of shoves her off, and then she gets this crazy look in her eyes and keeps going at it. I get pissed at this point, peel her fingers/arms off of him and push her and her now-present boyfriend away. Not two seconds later a security guard starts screaming (I couldn't really hear him, as the music was so loud) and pointing at me. I'm thinking he's pointing at someone else, as I haven't done anything wrong. The security guard starts to grab me, so I push him away and back up a bit into the crowd. But he keeps trying to grab me, and I realize he is actually singling me out. So I stop pushing him away and let him come into the crowd and get me. He leads me out of the crowd (by this point I'm not resisting at all and am thinking what I'm going to tell him) and then puts me in a full nelson. I'm kinda pissed about it, but I'm just thinking I'll go along with it, he's just gonna take me to a security room or something and ask me what was going on. Nope, he pushes me out the door, tells me to go home...I turn around and James and Rachel walk out. I ask them if they got kicked out...nope, just me. They were just following me/the security guard. So now James and I are really pissed. I got kicked out for trying to break up a fight, absolutely no fists were thrown, nothing. So I walk back to talk to the security guards outside, and all they have to say is they weren't there so they can't do anything about it. I'm still really pissed about it right now. Rachel spent $73 on our tickets as a birthday present to me, and I get kicked out for no reason, and no refund.

I would just like to say that if I knew the name of the security guard that kicked me out and the name of that stupid bitch, I would gladly kill both of them without a second thought. Pisses me off that the stupid drunk bitch has no repercussions, and all three of us are out a lot of money, and only got to see about 15 minutes of Social Distortion before being thrown out. Oh yeah, and when the security guard first started yelling and pointing at me, there were at least five people around me yelling at the security guard that I had done nothing wrong, and they were all pointing at the stupid drunk bitch. Obviously he didn't care and was getting off on his small amount of power. Pisses me off because the guy probably weighed a good 50 pounds less than me, and his full nelson wasn't even very tight, I could've easily slipped out of it. If Rachel wasn't there I guarantee James would've hit the security guard holding me, and we would've waited until the show was over to meet the ass hole outside in the parking lot.

That really sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm guessing the stupid security guard assumed you were in the wrong since you're the guy, and a girl can't possibly be in the wrong. Especially for starting something like a fight.. But the fact a bunch of other people around you saw what happened and backed you up.. its stupid he'd just throw you out without any questions asked. Well, I hope the next time you go to a concert it'll be better... No idiot security guard or stupid drunk girl.

If that security guard would have laid a finger on either of your beautiful faces I would have eaten him alive.

...tried to make that sound as gay as possible, but had to settle for that because I started to make myself uncomfortable.

It's such a shame though. I know you guys had been talking about that show for a while now.

This sounds like a House of Blues horror story to me. Something stupid like this happens to someone I know every single time there's a decent show at our HoB. It blows. I probably would've asked to see security and definitely wouldn't have let the whole thing blow over.

And I know what you mean about having to behave with the lady friends. :-\

I'm working on not letting it blow over. We tried talking to them, but it didn't us anywhere.

Yeah...the whole time I was being dragged out I just figured he was going to ask me what happened. Being thrown out and told to go home didn't even cross my mind. James and I tried talking to them, but they just said since they didn't kick me out they couldn't do anything. Just like when we tried to tell the cops that James was assaulted in the club then we were kicked out they didn't do anything...and just like when James called the manager he said he wasn't there so he couldn't do anything. No one with any authority wants to do anything...it's not that they can't, it's that they're too lazy, which is even more maddening than being kicked out.
