Did anyone ever consider having more stats than just PL?

For instance, PL is your health, energy, experience, all rolled up into one item.

Was then any reason there's not a PL stat, a health stat and a Ki stat? PL would basically be your experience/level indicator and could be used in a formula to help you compute damage/defense of attacks, health could start at 100/100 and then go down from the attacks and Ki could be used for the energy attacks and start at 100/100 and then go down based on using the attacks.

Not sure if anyone finds this interesting but I was just curious as to why PL is the only stat.

Powerlevel is supposed to be every stat rolled into one. It was to make it a bit simpler over all, and powerlevel was the only thing used in the show; if someone's powerlevel was higher than the others, they did more damage, they were faster, and they could take more damage. We can change it, but that would require a complete overhaul of pm's system, which I don't really wanna do:)

I agree with Matt, we should keep the PL portion of Planet Mado the same, otherwise we are eventually going to overcomplicate everything and soon have an mmorpg on our hands where we're creating 3D mapping and whatnot.

The intent of PL in the show was to give a number the quantified a person's overall battle prowess. This is essentially what it does in game too.

Makes sense to me. Nothing wrong with keeping it simple. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity ^_^
